Get ready for a unique and extraordinary adventure that will take you to 4,740 feet (1444 meters) above sea level, to the top of Monte San Michele (or Molare), the highest peak in the Lattari Mountains. This full-day tour, with significant elevation gain, is designed for those seeking an authentic experience and a deep connection with the wild nature of our land.

The route is a journey through the pristine beauty of the Amalfi Coast, with breathtaking views revealed step by step. We will hike along the northern side of the mountain, where the zigzagging paths will guide us through dense high-altitude forests, until we reach the majestic beech woods, an unique environment that characterizes the highest part of the mountains.

Here, we will also have the chance to see the ancient “neviere” (snow huts), remnants of the local snow industry that has long since disappeared. Once we reach the summit, the view will be unparalleled: a 360-degree panorama of Campania region that will leave you speechless.

You’ll be able to take spectacular photos, admire the high-altitude flora and fauna, and enjoy views of the Amalfi Coast’s hills and sea that seem like a distant dream. The descent, along the long ridge and an endless staircase, will bring you to the center of Positano, where the sea awaits you for a refreshing swim, with the view of the summit you just conquered.

To ensure an exclusive and safe experience, the tour is limited to groups of no more than 6 people and is for participants aged 16 and older.

It is advisable to avoid this hike during the hottest months of the year. In the case of adverse weather conditions or poor visibility due to clouds, the route may be modified while still keeping a panoramic itinerary at lower altitudes.
