I left Milan to return home: a journey of gratitude, beauty, and roots. Living Sopramare — suspended between sky and sea — is my greatest blessing. Despite the daily challenges of space and steep terrain, over time I’ve learned to embrace happiness that cannot be measured in money.
My true wealth lies in the small daily joys this land gives me. Walking, for me, has become an act of deep gratitude.

I live in Sopramare, a vertical neighborhood of Amalfi perched on the cliffs above the sea. Each morning, I wake up in what I consider my personal paradise. I’m grateful to call this place home, where history shows itself in food and wine, in folklore and village festivals, and in the natural beauty of a land both small and precious.
A Deep Bond withthe Mediterranean.
The architecture, landscapes, and unique villages of this coast make it special and keep me here as long as I can stay. To me, Sopramare is above all the Mediterranean: a “liquid continent” that unites diverse cultures, rooted in Amalfi’s rich history and its ancient ties to Mediterranean civilizations.

When I’m not guiding here on the Coast, you’ll often find me traveling — exploring other shores of “our sea”, mare nostrum. I’m constantly seeking new perspectives on our way of life, because to truly understand the Amalfi Coast, you must also understand the broader Mediterranean story.

On a rocky cliff overlooking Amalfi’s harbor lies my family’s large garden — a true corner of paradise. Between a small vineyard, fruit trees, and the prized Amalfi Sfusato lemons, we also grow fresh vegetables with passion. I grew up here, among grape harvests and family traditions, surrounded by my parents’ love for this land. Today, that same passion inspires me daily: for me, eating zero-mile food is the greatest modern luxury.

An 8 km hiking trail through the hamlet of Pogerola. This medium-level walk will take you through natural landscapes, historic sites, and family traditions, following the footsteps of my maternal ancestors to the Tavernata chestnut grove.
The final stop leads you to my “suspended” gardens above Amalfi, with breathtaking coastal views. The tour ends with a descent into the heart of Amalfi, offering a complete immersion in the beauty and soul of this land.
